Dr Sandeep is the Founder of Cochin Urology and an accomplished Urologist of India. He has a proven record in delivering Urology-related treatment and interventions: He is the first urologist to perform HoLEP surgery in Kerala. Further, he has also performed the highest number of HoLEP surgeries in the whole of South India.
Additionally, Dr Sandeep has performed around 10,000 surgeries in various spectrums of Urology, which includes-key hole surgery, Laser stone surgeries, Renal transplant and andrology surgeries, all through his medical career. His other area of research centers around treating male sexual dysfunction.
Dr Sandeep has graduated from medical institutions of repute: He underwent his initial General Surgery training at the renowned PGIMER Chandigarh, which is one of the top-ranked surgical training institutions in India. From here he went on to learn Urology from another world-renowned Urology Institute, which is SGPGIMS, Lucknow. This institution is considered as the Harvard of Urology in the Asia Pacific region. In fact, some of the world-renowned Indian Urologists, serving in different parts of the globe, are the proud alumni of SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
Dr Sandeep has been a winner of multiple awards for his pioneering work in Urology. Besides, he has also been recognized as the foremost endo-urologist in Kerala. For one, his work and research on Low Power holep has been widely recognized by the World congress of Endourology in the year 2019
Providing quality urological care for patients and playing a meaningful role as a Urologist–these were the twin dreams that Dr Sandeep nurtured, right from his childhood days. And it is this dream and self-inspiration that resulted in the founding of Cochin Urology.
Dr Sandeep strongly believes that there is immense power when a group of people with similar interest get together to work towards the same goal. This philosophy of his, motivates his team members to strive harder towards the betterment of patient care.
